Dr. Critchlore’s School for Minions by Sheila Grau - ADVISABLE

Grau, Sheila Dr. Critchlore’s School for Minions, 273 pages.  Amulet Books, 2015.  $15. Language: G (1 swears, 0 “f”); Mature Content: G; Violence: G;
Runt Higgins is starting his third year at Dr. Critchlore’s School for Minions and is not off to a great start.  He got put in the D-Hum (the human dorm) again, his headmaster, Dr. Critchlore, is not his normal self, and a video is out that could destroy the school.  Now, he is in the Junior Henchman program and the person he is supposed to be a junior henchman for has left.  During lunch the first day, an explosion happened and no one knows how.  Also, in the Junior Henchman program there are only five spots and there are 20 something people.

Sheila Grau did a great job with the book and I think that she did great with the characters too.  Everything was so realistic and relatable, she shouldn’t change a thing.  It was a great book for middle school and elementary school kids because there is nothing that their parents wouldn’t let them watch or do.  Anyone who reads this book would like it and want to read the next.
