The Night Parade by Kathryn Tanquary - ADVISABLE

Tanquary, Kathryn The Night Parade, 330 pages. Sourcebooks Jabberwocky, 2016. Language-G (0 swears, 0 "f"s) Mature Content-G; Violence-G;

Saki is not excited about going to her grandmother's house for a few days to take part in the Obon ceremony. Saki soon find some town kids with which to tag along. She follows them to a grave yard and Saki is dared to do something that invokes a death curse upon her. Saki now has until the end of the Obon ceremony to fix her mistakes, or she and her new found friends will feel the wrath of the darkness. I liked this book a lot more than I thought I would. Saki has a very interesting as well as realistic personality, and I found the book to be very engaging.
