Investigating Animal Life Cycles by L.J. Amstutz –OPTIONAL

Amstutz, L.J.  Investigating Animal Life Cycles 40 pgs. Lerner, 2016. $15.00 NON-FICTION
This book covers the stages of life for living creatures, birth, growth, adulthood, and death. It features bright colors, text boxes, and lots of clear bright photographs.
I though this book was super confusing. It attempted (bravely) to cover as many types of living creatures as it possibly could: Insects, Fish, Reptiles, amphibians, and mammals! I felt like I was watching a TV screen flipping rapidly through stations. I think for younger readers we might want to stick with separate chapters for each type of living creature. Or separate books for that matter. The layouts and photos were top notch though.
