Bad Babysitter (Babymouse #19) by Jennifer Holm and Matthew Holm – ADVISABLE

Holm, Jennifer and Holm, Matthew Bad Babysitter (Babymouse #19) 90 pages Random House, 2015. $6.99 Content: Language: G (0 swears); Mature Content: G Violence: G GRAPHIC NOVEL
Babymouse would do anything to get a new scooter. When she is offered her first babysitting job, she finds out she gets paid and jumps at the opportunity. But its harder than it looks, and just keeps getting more challenging. From monkey’s jumping on the bed to diaper changes, will Babymouse give up on her dream?
I just am still finding it hard to believe that Babymouse and Squish are written by the same duo, because I can’t stand Babymouse and I love Squish! Confused! That being said, again, this series is so popular there is no way I wouldn’t pick this up for the library collection. While there is a great message about never giving up and working hard, I don’t think students will understand the Mary Poppins references, which were numerous, that movie was outdated even when I was a kid.
