With her dad dead, Piper survives by being a Scrapper, a person who scavenges through wreckage from Meteor showers. When she goes out to find her friend lost outdoors, she comes upon a caravan wreckage and girl who remembers nothing of her past other than a tattoo on her arm that show she is from the Dragonfly Territories. Which means a reward for Piper if she can get her home safely. When a guy comes after them, the escape by stowing away on a train. But are they welcome, are they safe? With danger lying around every turn, who can they trust?

If the unique characters with complex, secretive pasts don’t make the reader want to keep reading, the fast-paced action and adventure will. This well-written book will appeal to science fiction adventure fans everywhere.
