The illustrations are beautifully done, and the sections feature enough little-known information about the different stories to satisfy fairy tale lovers of all ages -- well, from elementary school on up, since some of the content may be scary for younger readers. Because of the delicate nature of the book, this one may not last long on library or classroom shelves, but it would make a wonderful gift for fairy tale lovers of all ages.
