Anastasia Again! by Lois Lowry - ADVISABLE

Lowry, Lois Anastasia Again! 184 pgs. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 1981. $6.99 (2014 edition includes a new introduction by the author)  Language: G (0 swear); Mature Content: PG; Violence: G.

Anastasia, now twelve is planning to move with her family to the suburbs, but she is not excited to leave her friends, her apartment or the big city.  Besides, everyone in the suburbs wears pink curlers and golf shirts.  Her family just won’t fit in.  So she makes an outlandish request for a house with a tower.  When the real estate agent finds the perfect house, the can’t wait to move in, but now Anastasia has to make new friends, and so far, the only one she has met looks like a witch and lives next door.

A well written sequel, only a few outdated references (like permanents and Walter Cronkite) and a great new cover.  I'm so glad to see this series back in circulation.  EL, MS - ADVISABLE  Lisa Librarian
