Timmy Failure is back, and now there is a detective contest at his school. In fact, it’s a district wide contest sponsored by the Superintendent with a $500 prize for the winner. Timmy needs that money to secure his empire, but Timmy has a broken leg, the clues are irrelevant and Total, his polar bear, is uncooperative - - he’s afraid of Great Aunt Colander’s bird. Book 2 in the series can easily stand on it’s own, but is a delightful follow-up to “Mistakes were Made”. The illustrations are hilarious, and help tell the story. Readers will be asking for #3.
