yellow bird is determined and happy to stay on his perch. He is incensed when numerous
other animals want to share his perch, and he keeps saying Pardon me! When a
fox calls out a timely warning, the little bird just won’t listen, but all the
other animals do!
A bright and
creatively illustrated story with a simple lesson about not being stuck in your
ways. Why I am rating this as optional?
Because many students in my school aren’t familiar with the words Pardon me,
they are way more used to using Excuse me. Also I just kind of felt bad for this bird, he just wanted a moments peace and he looked so happy when he found it, I can relate to that.
