PICTURE BOOK.  Tess is about to start school and experience riding a school bus for the very first time.  In her excitement with each passing vehicle she asks her friend, “Is that the bus for us Gus?”  Tess and Gus see a taxi, a tow truck, a fire engine, an ice cream truck and other vehicles while they wait to go to school.  Will they school bus ever come?  Each page gives the reader a hint at which vehicle will come next.  It was fun to guess and sometimes find a surprise waiting on the next page when we guessed incorrectly!
