The Empire of Gut and Bone by M.T. Anderson - NO

Anderson, M.T. The Empire of Gut and Bone, 324 pgs. Scholastic Press, 2011.  $17.99. Language-PG (1 swear), Sexual Content-G; Violence-PG; Join Brian and Gregory as they continue their quest to bring justice to the Thusser who broke the rules of the Game.  On their way to go tell the Norumbegans of the rule breaking Thusser, they get to meet new friends who are machines with feelings and thoughts, Mannequins.  These people are part of the Mannequin Resistance.  But once the two boys get there they soon find out that these lazy Norumbegans have no interest in helping them.  Truthfully this book is as confusing as it sounds in the summary.  This book is extremely hard to understand.  I had no motivation to read to find out what was going to happen.  I don't think this book is even worth the time.  EL - NO (poorly written).
