All Alex has ever wanted was to know that she was loved by her mom who died in a car crash when she was young.  Her and her two friends, Zack and Bethany are along for the ride as Alex decides that she needs to go to Colorado, the destination of her mom when she got in the fatal car crash. The "three-headed-monster" is ready for the trip, that is until Alex finds her soul-mate? But how can he be her soul mate when he hurts her?

This book was kind of shocking.  Brown is amazing at showing the feelings behind thoughts. Although there are times where I was shocked that she was able to write about such horrible things such as an abusive relationships in such strong detail.  I thought this book, although quite frightening, was a great story and gave me great insight.  I now understand the issues of an abusive relationship and how to fix them.
