Madison Avery’s dreams of fitting in at her new school died when she did, especially since she’s recently managed to figure out how to maintain the illusion of a body, deal with a pesky guardian angel, and oh yeah, bring the reaper who killed her to his untimely end. Now she’s discovered that she is the dark timekeeper, the undead person in charge of making fallen angels behave themselves. Of course, that job would be easier if the angels would quit making her look nuts in front of her crush, Josh. Will Madison find a way to juggle her undead social and work life?

A funny, entertaining paranormal fiction book for fans of the genre. The plot is well-developed. The characters are likable and entertaining. Readers who like fantasy, undead, fallen angels, paranormal, and dark fantasies will enjoy reading this book. MS. HS. ADVISABLE. Reviewer: Jessica M, Library Media Specialist, Olympus Jr. High.
