Miss Lina’s Ballerinas by Grace Maccarone

Miss Lina’s Ballerinas, Illustrated by Christine Davenier.  Feiwel and Friends, 2010.  Content: G.  PICTURE BOOK.  Eight ballerinas who do everything together learn to make adjustments to their dancing days with the arrival of a new dancer.  As the new ballerina turns the girls into a class of nine, they have to learn to dance in rows of three instead of four and make other changes in their day-to-day living.  This book is a cute rhyming book that teaches the advantages of including others and is illustrated with fun drawing of little dancers.  Advisable for Elementary.  Reviewer: C.
