Guinevere of Northgallis travels to a conference of Welsh kings with family, recently having discovered she has been guarded all her life by a pagan tribe. She soon discovers that she might have an enemy, Princess Morgan, who may be plotting against her tribal friend, Llyr.
This book was, of course, a little confusing to me because I haven't read the first book, but it was still an exciting piece of literature. I liked the original plotting and the way the author converted knowledge of legends into a good story. The characters all had real personality that I can relate to in real life.
